    The last time I went to Key West, I had something called Mollo - it was absolutely delicious. I asked how it was made and was told it was originally a Cuban recipe, but that most of the younger Cubans don't know about it.

    It is made with ground black eyed peas, garlic and onion. They fry it up kind of like conch fritters (or corn fritters). They eat it in the place of bread with a meal.

    He didn't mention anything about salt or pepper, but if you like to experiment, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
