INDIAN CHICKEN (TURKEY) IN TOMATO SAUCE A: A AB: OK B: A O: OK

  • 2 Chicken breasts (opt)
  • A: N AB: A B: A O: N
  • or Turkey breasts (opt)
  • A: N AB: HB B: N O: N
  • Olive Oil
  • A: HB AB: HB B: HB O: HB
  • 1/2 small Onion (any non-green)
  • A: HB AB: N B: N O: HB
  • 1 can Tomato Paste
  • A: A AB: U B: A O: N
  • 2 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • A: N AB: N B: N O: N
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • A: HB AB: N B: HB O: N
  • 3 cloves Garlic or prechopped equivalent
  • A: HB AB: HB B: N O: HB

    Cutr the chicken or turkey into 1" squares. Add to frying pan with olive oil and onion.Cook meat until done on the outside. Add tomato paste. In another pan, toast the cumin in a small amount of oil. Add ginger and garlic and cook for another 7-10 minutes

    I actually roast my cumin ahead of time in the oven and then just toss directly in.
